The last eight weeks I worked in such a focused state.. and I was ready for something HUGE 😆. Then, on week seven, I sprained my ankle on a long jump landing during practice 🤦♀️😭😫 (swipe to the end to see).. . I decided to ice and compress, web and light the crud out of it, and still compete at the championships 💪. I learned so dang much about myself. I learned that I can do hard things. I learned that I am strong. I learned that mental positivity and total stubbornness can get you through any amount of mental or physical pain. . I gave my ALL to each of the seven events at the championships, and never wavered from wanting to put something together. No matter what pain I felt.. I refused to limp. No matter how frustrated I wanted to get, I refused to stop pushing. No matter what results were coming my way..I refused to quit. It’s a Heptathlon I will always hold onto with pride ❤️. . Honestly. We can do anything. Truly. I used to feel like I was the mentally weakest person ever. But I’ve learned SO much about mental practice and what it can do. On to the next goal: Now #roadtodoha becomes the #roadtotokyo ✨. . Thank you so much for the love and support. You guys didn’t know what I was going through, but you still continued to cheer me on, hoping that I would do something awesome! Thanks for being so great! I love these seven events, and I love you! ❤️. . . . . #tracknation #iaaf #iaafdoha2019 #iaafworlds #persuitofprogress #lovelife #positivevibes #persistance #hardwork #heptathlon #wecandoit
