‼️🎾Tennis Tip Tuesday🎾‼️As a tennis player, your legs are your most important muscles. Developing leg strength through specific weight training as well as quickness and endurance cardio is key. You must be able to complete a series of short sprints and have the endurance to potentially be on the court playing 2-4 hour matches! The next most important body part on a tennis player is the core. A variety of core exercises that mimic a swing, as well as stabilization exercises will develop your core strength. A lot of people are surprised by this, because they think arms are the most important muscles on a tennis player (swinging for shots). To put it in perspective, while arms and shoulder mobility are obviously very important, if you think about any big name tennis player -such as Federer, Murray, Djokovic- they have huge, strong, legs...a very tight, strong core, and while still muscular, somewhat smaller arms. E-book coming soon with work outs, drills, and more!!🎾🏋🏻♀️🏋🏽💪🏼👀
